This photograph captures a significant moment in the history of St Kea All Hallows Church in Cornwall, circa 1904. The image showcases the eight majestic bells that were to be installed in the new church consecrated in 1896. Standing proudly behind these magnificent bells are workers from the Killiow Estate, along with Mr J. C. Daubuz, the esteemed Squire of Killiow Estate and owner of Daubuz tin smelting works. Notably, a young boy named Chegwidden is also present in this photograph, representing his older brother Ernest who had ventured off to America.
