Diane Cilentos parents were both prominent medics yet Cilento chose to follow a career in acting rather than medicine. She made her first film in 1952 entitled " Wings of Danger" and appeared on stage for the first time a year later. Since then she has alternated between the stage and screen, her finest performance coming as Molly Seagrim in 1963s " Tom Jones." In 1962 she became the envy of almost every woman on the planet when she married Sean Connery. Their marriage lasted until 1973 and produced one son, Jason Connery. Cilento now concentrates on writing more than acting

Her career took off with her debut film 'Wings of Danger' in 1952 and soon after she graced the stage for the first time. Throughout her illustrious career, Diane seamlessly transitioned between theater and film roles. The envy of many women around the world when they married in 1962, their union lasted until 1973 and blessed them with one son named Jason Connery. Today, while still cherishing occasional acting opportunities, Diane focuses primarily on writing projects.
